Site work and renovation of a civil project in Shepherd, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project includes improvements to the existing water tower as outlined in the Water Tower Maintenance Inspection report prepared by Dixon Engineering Appendix A. Improvements include the following: Modifÿ overflow discharge and replace screen, Install gasket at wet interior roof hatch, Install sample tap on fill/draw pipe, Abrasive blast clean exterior in dust tight containment, abrasive blast pit piping, repair foundation spalls, repaint exterior, pit piping and foundation, Power tool clean and repaint burns at wet interior, Install a ladder extension at the condensate platform, install hand hold at the wet interior roof hatch and access to roof hatch, and install a drain line in the condensate platform. The project also consists of draining the tank and providing hydrant blow offs to maintain pressure. Disinfecting the tank, bacterial testing of the tank and placing the tank back in service. A pre-bid conference will not be held. The Village of Shepherd reserves the right to accept any bid, reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the Village of Shepherd.
