This work consists of providing pre-scheduled Roadside Litter Pickup in Queen Anne s County, specifically MD309, MD481, MD18C, MD456, MD656, MD662 and to be utilized year-round for one calendar year (April2024 March 2025). MDOT SHA is requesting bids on pickup cycle rates. The Maryland State Highway Administration Centreville Shop is accepting bids for roadside Litter removal in Queen Anne's County as detailed in the specific location detail below. The contract manager will be Troy Sisco or designee Keith Rhodes. They may be contacted at telephone number 410-758-0700. Contractor or management of contract should have a minimum of one (1) year experience in providing similar services. This contract consists of roadside litter pick up in Queen Anne's County specifically US01 from Kent County/Queen Anne's County line to US50/301 split both directions including shoulders and the median. The work will be bid by a complete cycle of litter pick up. Work activities include removal of trash, litter, and debris including tire caps, organic debris, bottles, cans, cardboard, paper, tires, metal, etc. This also includes the removal and clearing of debris from inlet grates along the shoulder. No animal carcasses will be the responsibility of the contractor. This is a non-exclusive Contract. It does not include all work expected to be performed in the designated areas. Therefore, at times, other Contractors may be performing similar work that is not associated with this Contract. No pre-bid conference will be held.
