Contract#: 25RC053608 Federal# / IRIS Program#: N/A / 25RC053608 The Engineer's Estimate is Between $200,000 and $500,000 This state funded project will replace the exterior windows at Building 295 (Heritage Hall) at Mt. Edgecumbe High School in Sitka, Alaska. This project includes four (4) additive alternates for window replacements in various locations around the building exterior. The apparent successful bidder must furnish a payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract and a performance bond in the amount of 100% of the contract as security conditioned for the full, complete and faithful performance of the contract. The apparent successful bidder must execute the said contract and bonds within fifteen calendar days, or such further time as may be allowed in writing by the Contracting Officer, after receiving notification of the acceptance of their bid. a. Edgecumbe High School Building 295 Heritage Hall Window Upgrades *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. A. Work under this Contract includes all work required for this state funded project at Mt. Edgecumbe H.S, Sitka, Alaska, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Contract Documents. B. Base Bid: This work includes removing existing windows and installing new windows in Mt. Edgecumbe Building 295 (Heritage Hall) on its southeast elevation. Windows on the basement level include five (5) Type W1, two (2) Type W2, and two (2) Type W3; windows on the first floorinclude three (3) Type W4; and windows on the second floor include two (2) Type W4. No work to windows designated Type W5 will be a part of this base bid. In summary, windows in the Base Bid include five (5) Type W1, two (2) Type W2, two (2) Type W3, and five (5) Type W4. C. Additive Alternate One: This work includes removing existing windows and installing new windows in Mt. Edgecumbe Building 295 (Heritage Hall) on its southwest elevation. Windows on the basement level include two (2) Type W3; windows on the first floor include two (2) Type W7 and four (4) Type W11, and windows on the second floor include two (2) Type W7. In summary, windows in Additive Alternate One include two (2) Type W3, four (4) Type W7 and four (4) Type W11. D. Additive Alternate Two: This work includes removing existing windows and installing new windows in Mt. Edgecumbe Building 295 (Heritage Hall) on its northeast elevation. Windows on the first floor include three (3) Type W6, three (3) Type W8, two (2) Type W9 and one (1) Type W11; and windows on the second floor include three (3) Type W7. In summary, windows in Additive Alternate Two include three (3) Type W6, three (3) Type W7, three (3) Type W8, two (2) Type W9 and one (1) Type W11. E. Additive Alternate Three: This work includes removing existing windows and installing new windows in Mt. Edgecumbe Building 295 (Heritage Hall) on its northwest elevation. Windows on the basement level include two (2) Type W1; windows on the first floor include one (1) Type W4, four (4) Type W9, one (1) Type W10 and two (2) Type W11; and windows on the second floor include one (1) Type W4, one (1) Type W7 and three (3) Type W12. In summary, windows in Additive Alternate Three include two (2) Type W1, two (2) Type W4, one (1) Type W7, four (4) Type W9, one (1) Type W10, two (2) Type W11 and three (3) Type W12. F. Additive Alternate Four: This work includes removing existing windows and installing five (5) new Type W5 windows in Mt. Edgecumbe Building 295 (Heritage Hall), one (1) on its northwest elevation and four (4) on its southeast elevation. No other windows or work included in this additive. G. Coordination with the Department and Mt. Edgecumbe High School to maintain continuity of campus operations, sequencing of activities to maintain dining services for students during the school year and campus events, and minimization of disruption to campus services. H. Protection of any and all adjacent existing properties and structures. Provision of construction barriers, measures, and safe pathways to prevent unauthorized access into construction zones.
