Site work for a mixed-use development in Revere, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility.

Fence Installation for Dugouts at Revere High School Baseball Field. All Questions must be submitted in writing and must be received prior to 5:00 P.M. on Wednesday, February 21, 2024. The work under this contract is for the supply and installation of a chain link fence system as shown and described on the associated plan and as described herein. The location of the proposed work is the Revere High School Baseball Field. The work is to be completed in 2 Phases. Each Phase shall be broken down into segments as necessary. This is a portion of a larger project under which 2 new dugouts are to be installed. The overall project is to also include the installation of (2) concrete pads and the installation of roof structures on top of the fence posts which are to be installed under this contract. This project is to be installed in phases. Each phase will be further broken down into segments. The overall fence job will require at least 5 separate working visits to the site. All posts and rails are to be 13-gauge, fabric to be 2" mesh, 8 gauge. All hardware to be black vinyl coated, fusion bonded. All materials required to complete the job (posts, fabric, caps, clamps, tension bars etc.) shall be included. All work to include top, bottom, and middle rails, to be 1-5/8", 13 gauge. 2 rails shall also be provided to connect the 8'-0" posts to the 9'-6" posts, one at each end of the system. All materials shall be new and in good condition, the City reserves the right to reject any sub-par materials and/or any materials that arrive damaged. Disposal of all waste generated during this project shall be the Contractor's responsibility. The contractor shall provide their own source of water as necessary to complete the work. The contractor shall provide all the concrete necessary to complete work under this contract. Work requires demolition and disposal of appx. 72 LF of fence and 4' high fence fabric. Included shall be the installation of ten (10) - 9'6" exposed height posts and ten (10) - 8'-0" exposed height posts. Installing these posts shall be the first task in Phase 1. Once the posts are installed, the site shall be protected on all sides with 6' high temp chain link construction fencing, stabilized with adequate ballast Scope of work - Phase 1 (continued) Concrete and excavation for footings shall be provided by the contractor, disposal of all excavated waste material shall be the contactors responsibility. After the posts are in, the City of Revere will be installing concrete pads to be 1' beyond the posts in all directions. After the slabs are poured and the footings are cured, the contractor shall revisit the site and install the horizontal rails. After such time, the City of Revere will be installing wood framed roofs onto the posts. After the roofs are installed, the contractor shall revisit the site and install the fence fabric and the HDPW split pipe on top of the 5' high horizontal rails. Work includes connecting the existing adjacent fence to the new fence posts in (4) locations. Pricing under this scope shall be included in the Lump Sum Price of Phase 1. Scope of work - Phase 2 Separately from Phase 1 and upon Phase 1's final completion (all work, including the DPW work) the contractor shall complete Phase 2. Prior to work on Phase 2, the City of Revere will demolish (2) sections of the existing chain link fence, existing concrete pads, and player benches. Once that is complete, the contractor may begin the fence work. Fence posts shall be installed to connect the new dugouts to the existing backstop. (2) openings shall be provided measuring appx. 4' wide by 7' tall. Posts for the openings and a horizontal rail shall be provided at the opening. This Phase includes 9'-6" high fence for a total of appx. 90' +/- feet of fence. Connecting these new fences to both the existing backstop and the corner posts of the new dugouts shall be included. This Phase shall be completed as soon as possible but shall allow ample time for the footings to cure. After the footings are cured, the contractor shall revisit the site and install the rails and the fabric. Pricing under this scope shall be included in the Lump Sum Price of Phase 2.
