The County reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals. The County reserves the right to cancel this request at any time for any reason. Infrared Restoration Repair, Cut & Patch, Catch Basin Rebuild, Crack Sealing, Sealcoating & Line Striping - Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment to repair failed asphalt areas, rebuild catch basins, seal random cracks, apply pavement sealer and line stripe bituminous concrete pavement as outlined below: Infrared Restoration Repair - Various asphalt repair areas throughout the lot on the attached site map. Clean and Prep repair areas to remove debris and dirt. Light the Infrared chamber. Scarify the damaged pavement area. Add new virgin asphalt to the repair area. Rake and Lute repair area. Compact the repair by rolling the edges first which is what creates the permanent, seamless bond with the existing asphalt. Asphalt Cut & Patch - Saw cut, excavate, and remove existing failed pavement. Replace it with top course asphalt. Power roll for maximum compaction. Catch Basin Rebuild - See attached site map. Cut and remove bituminous concrete around catch basin/manhole. Remove the frame and grate/cover and reset bricks in concrete, new bricks will be added if needed. Reset frame and grate/cover. Install hot mix asphalt in area excavated with approximately 3" of bituminous concrete. Infrared area around catch basin/manhole to seal in the repair. Crack Sealing - Blow out cracks using a hot air lance with minimum 125 CFM 90 PSI air pressure, fill and seal random cracks with Type II hot applied rubberized crack sealant heated in a double jacketed melter to a minimum 325 degrees F. using a pressurized applicator wand, apply appropriate detack agent as necessary to allow vehicular traffic prior to cure. Sealcoating - Clean pavement to be sealed using brooms and air blowers, prime oil spots with latex primer, apply (2) coats of ACTION PAVE FedSpec rubberized coal tar emulsion pavement sealer meeting ASTM D-5727/D-6945/D-3320 with #60 silica sand mixed with each gallon of raw sealer. Sealer shall be applied at a minimum of .023 gallons per square foot per (2) coats. Line Striping - Line Stripe to existing visible format. Repair Key- Asphalt & Catch Basin Repair Key: Approximate dimensions, description of area and cost of repair. These areas are shown on the map numbered 1-14. (1) 7 x 15 gatored depression (2) 7 x 10 gatored depression (3) 7 x 5 gatored depression (4) 12 x 15 & 15 x 10 right triangle gatored depression (5) 3 x 8 walkway wide crack (6) 4 x 5 walkway sinkhole (7) 2 x 8 walkway wide crack (8) 2 x 10 walkway wide crack (9) Catch basin rebuild (2-3 rows brick) (10) 7 x 30 gatored edge of roadway (11) 20 x 10 gatored depression (12) 3 x 5 edge break up (13) 32 x 5 depression along dumpster approach (14) 7 x 15 depression
