The Housing Authority of the City of Sacramento is soliciting sealed bids from C7 Low Voltage System contractors to provide and install a "state-of-the-art" security camera surveillance systems at two of the public housing sites within the City of Sacramento. The installation shall include all equipment and labor necessary. Question Submission Deadline:March 22, 2024, 10:00am All RFI Questions must be submitted online through OpenGov The Contractor shall complete all work required under this contract within One Hundred Twenty (120) calendar days of the effective date of the contract Project Description Provision and installation of new security surveillance system at 480 Redwood Avenue & 3725 Cypress Street in Sacramento, CA. 3.2. Minimum Requirements Minimum of 3 years experience with digital camera and digital recording equipment. It will be necessary to include references to verify experience; California C-7 Low Voltage Systems and/or C-10 General Electrical contracting license; Contractor will use only trained employees that have been certified by the manufacturer as qualified installers. Prove of certification will be required. 3.3. 480 Redwood Avenue Scope of Work Scope of Work At the existing multi-family complex at 480 Redwood Avenue, Sacramento 95815, perform the following work: At Ground Floor: Remove existing Pelco surveillance cameras (32 cameras), cabling and mounts Install a total of 32 new cameras, mounts and cabling with new Digital Watchdog (DW) cameras Install new server (with monitor, keyboard and mouse) in the same location (see drawings). At Floor 2: Install cameras at 2nd floor locations specified on drawings. Cabling to be brought through existing conduit and pulled through existing drop ceilings at each floor to camera locations. Monitor: 22 inch LCD Server Rack Cabinet: Star Tech Product ID: RK1833BKM All cabling to be fire riser rated (for above ceiling installation as well as through existing conduit risers). Contractor will be responsible for all cabling (identification, troubleshooting) through existing conduits, mounting in existing locations, and finish. The Scope of Work under this contract will be for the mounting of the cameras at all of these locations, and for the installation of the new NVR (server) inside existing Security Room, and connection of the camera cabling termination (point of connection) to this server. Contractor shall ensure a fully operational system before commencement of the 2-year warranty period under this contract. Contractor will provide the new DW product to allow SHRA staff the technology to view the property at all hours of the day via the client software and the ability of retaining video for up to 30 days. 3.4. 3725 Cypress Street Scope of Work Scope of Work At the existing multi-family complex at 3725 Cypress Street, Sacramento 95838, perform the following work: At Ground Floor: Remove existing Pelco surveillance cameras (28 cameras), cabling and mounts. Install a total of 28 new cameras, mounts and cabling with new Digital Watchdog (DW) cameras Install new server (with monitor, keyboard and mouse) in the same location (see drawings).
