Site work for a civil project in Sacramento, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The work involves the following: 1. Selective demolition. 2. 20" water pipeline removal and abandonment in place by placement of abandoned pipe fill. 3. Clearing and Grubbing. 4. Earthwork, which includes removal of topsoil on the downstream face of the dam, dam embankment compaction for collapsing of rodent burrow holes, access road ramp compacted embankment fill, excavation of the low flow channel, and trench excavation for removal of the 20" Water Pipeline. 5. Grouting of Rodent Burrow Holes. 6. Excavation and backfilling of rodent burrow prevention trenches using Controlled Low Strength Material (CLSM). 7. Placement of Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC)-Coated Steel Wire Mesh. 8. Placement of Armoring Rock and Bedding Rock. 9. Placement of Aggregate Base Rock. 10. Placement of Hot Mix Asphalt for the access road ramp and dikes. 11. Installing concrete lined V-ditches and associated drainage features including weep hole coring. 12. Fence Removal and Replacement, Gates, Temporary Access Roads, and Temporary Pipe Crossing Protection. 13. Low Flow channel improvements including concrete energy dissipator repairs, removal of vegetation, placement of geotextile fabric, and placement of riprap. 14. Placement of prefabricated utility box extensions and survey monument protection. 15. Site restoration and seeding. Estimated Cost: $2,700,000 TO $3,400,000 The Department has set a 25 percent Small Business Enterprise (SBE) participation goal in its contracting and is tracking Small Business participation in its contracts To register as a planholder or bidder, please email doe_specs@water.ca.gov.
