Scope of Services The City of Sacramento is seeking a qualified engineering consultant firm or team to provide professional services for completion of final engineering including Plans, Specifications, and Estimate(PS&E) for civil and electrical improvements, utility relocations (if deemed necessary), right of way, and public outreach for the Franklin Boulevard Complete Street Phase 3 Project (T15165503). The project will include a reduction in travel lanes from four to two with a center turn lane; Class IV protected bikeways separated from vehicle lanes by vertical curbs and refuge islands; modified traffic signals; and improved pedestrian facilities including crosswalks, pedestrian-scale lighting, buffer planters, shade trees, and accessibility improvements. The project is located in the City of Sacramento along Franklin Boulevard from 32nd Avenue to south of 38th Avenue. It is the third and final phase of the Franklin Boulevard Complete Street Plan. Other Details This project has received state funds through the Active Transportation Program (ATP). No federal funds will be used for the completion of Final PS&E.
