Site work and paving for a civil project in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Three bids are not required at this second offering; as few as one valid bid may be opened and considered for award per NCGS 143-132. The City reserves the right to waive any informalities in the bidding and to reject any or all proposals. Bidders are hereby notified that they must be properly licensed as required by Chapter 87 of the North Carolina General Statutes. Compliance with the City/County Utility Commission's Minority and Women Business Enterprise program is required on this project. Please refer to the Special Instructions to Bidders contained in the Bidding Documents. The subcontracting goals are: 2% MBE, 1% WBE and must be met separately Neither Owner nor Engineer has any responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, or sufficiency of any Bidding Documents obtained from any source other than the City of Winston-Salem. Obtaining these documents from any source may result in obtaining incomplete and inaccurate information, and may also result in failure to receive any addenda, corrections, or other revisions to the Bidding Documents that may be issued.
