“The owner has selected a Design Builder. A timeline for construction has not yet been established.” The City of Winston-Salem is readvertising for responses to this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) from licensed teams/firms who provide design-build services to provide design and construction services for the City of Winston-Salem TV13 Studio Control Room A/V Upgrade as noted in the scope of work. The services generally include but are not limited to preliminary design & development, schematic design, final design, cost estimates, construction/bidding documents, permitting, project schedules, construction and construction administration services. In accordance with city policy, M/WBE subcontracting goals will be established once the final design is complete and a cost estimate submitted to the City. All questions concerning the submittal process of this RFQ should be submitted in writing to Catherine Knisley at catherinek@cityofws.org. This is not to be confused with the 10% minimum M/WBE commitment to use M/WBE subcontractors as part of the design build team in response to this RFQ The City reserves the right to reject any or all applications; to waive minor irregularities in the RFQ process or in the applications; to re-advertise this RFQ; to postpone or cancel this process; select and procure parts of services; and to change or modify the RFQ schedule at any time Interested bidders are required to reach out directly to the Owner to obtain a set of the bidding documents.
