Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Modesto, California. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The engineer's estimate is $1,400,000. The project consists of the demolition, removal, and replacement of the existing Parking Lot 207 and existing surrounding site features. Site improvements include installation of new AC paving, concrete paved walks, concrete curbs, parking lot signage, accessible parking stalls and stripping, landscape and irrigation improvements and modifications of site utilities. To bid on this Project, the Bidder is required to possess at a minimum the following State of California Contractor License and Certification: A and/or B and/or C-12 California Class contractor's license is required to Bid this contract. The Bidder's license(s) must remain active and in good standing throughout the term of the Contract. This Project is subject to labor compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1771.4 and subject to the requirements of Title 8 of the California Code of Regulations. The Contractor and all Subcontractors under the Contractor shall furnish electronic certified payroll records directly to the Labor Commissioner weekly or within (10) days of any request by the District or the Labor Commissioner. The successful bidder shall comply with all requirements of Division 2, Part 7, Chapter 1, of the Labor Code. Pursuant to SB 854, no contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid for a public works project (submitted on or after March 1, 2015) unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) and no contractor or subcontractor may be awarded a contract for a public works project (awarded on or before April 1, 2015) unless registered with the DIR per California Labor Code section 1725.5.
