Bloomsburg Area School District Site Improvements - 5320912

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility; for paving for a educational facility; road / highway; road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The work includes but is not limited to all labor, materials, tools, oversight, and permits required to install the site protection measures at each school and renovate the existing asphalt roadway at the Beaver Main Elementary School. The Asphalt restoration will include 1 Mill and Overlay, Full Depth Replacement, and line striping. All Prime Contractor Bidders must be PennDOT Prequalified as a Prime Contractor or Sub-Contractor for the tasks they complete, and all subcontractors must be PennDOT Prequalified as a Sub-Contractor for the tasks assigned. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond with a corporate surety authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, in accordance with the project specifications in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount. A Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder as detailed in the Instructions to Bidders. Prevailing Wage Rates shall apply. All labor, materials, tools, oversight, and permits to renovate the existing asphalt roadway. This includes 1 - 1/2 " mill and overlay, full depth base replacement, and line striping. 2. Install 4'- 0" chain link fencing around all window wells. Each set of fencing shall include (1) 4'- 0" chain link gate. 3. Install (2) Bollards to protect electrical service. 4. Install (2) Single Leaf Vehicular Gates. The posts for the gates shall be encased in concrete. C. WW Evans Memorial Elementary School 1. Install (1) Bollard to protect electrical transformer. 2. Install 8'- 0" chain link fencing to protect the gas service. Fencing shall include a 3'- 0" gate. 3. Install (1) Single Leaf Vehicular Gate. The post for the gate shall be encased in concrete. D. Bloomsburg Area High School 1. Install 8'- 0" chain link fencing surrounding the propane tank. Fencing shall include (1) 4' - 0' chain link gate.
