Site work for a mixed-use development in Auburn, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and sidewalk / parking lot.
**As of April 25, 2024 this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The Project includes the following Work: Wood playscape removal, new modular play equipment, surfacing, and concrete sidewalk. Principal items of work include but are not limited to: 1 LSUM Demolition 1 LSUM Play/Fitness Equipment and Installation 55 SFT Concrete Sidewalk, 4 inch 7,500 SFT Engineered Wood Fiber Safety Surface 3,000 SFT Poured-in-Place Safety Surface Instructions to Bidders Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. This project is being funded in part with proceeds from a Michigan Department of Natural Resources SPARK Grant Program and is therefore required to follow all related federal, state, and local orders, policies, executive directives, public acts, and ordinances as deemed necessary including Buy America and Davis Bacon Wage Requirements. The Contractor must comply with all applicable and related requirements including but not limited to, the 1976 PA 453 (Elliot-Larsen Civil Rights Act); the 1976 PA 220 (persons with Disabilities Civil Rights Act), as amended; and in accordance with: Governor's Executive Directive 2019-09 and the Playground Safety Act, P.A. 16 of 1997. The above-referenced project is a federally funded activity authorized under the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974. All successful bidders must comply with the federal labor standards, including the Davis-Bacon Act and the Copeland Anti-Kickback legislation; federal equal opportunity requirements; and Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968. This project is subject to the Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA) requirements under Title IX of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), Pub. L. 117-58, 70901-70953. Absent an approved waiver, all iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials used in this project must be produced in the United States. The Work will be substantially complete on or before July 30, 2024, and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions on or before August 30, 2024
