Reference Number 0000344058 Question Deadline 03/14/2024 at 5:00 PM ET Questions are submitted online No In order to provide Clinton Township with contractors and subcontractors who will carry out the work in a timely and satisfactory manner, an approved for Sanitary Sewer Cleaning and Televising for the 2024 calendar year must be on file with the Township prior to the bid opening. The qualifications for the general contractor and all subcontractors to be used on the project will be reviewed on the basis of the proposed bidder's past performance on work of a similar nature for Clinton Township and other owners. For this particular project, packages must be received by the Water & Sewer Division no later than 5 business days prior to the bid opening. The approximate quantities involved in this work are as follows: Cleaning and CCTV Investigation of Sanitary Sewers, 6"-12" 180,200 FT Cleaning and CCTV Investigation of Sanitary Sewers, 15"-21" 11,000 FT Cleaning and CCTV Investigation of Sanitary Sewers, 24"-36" 10,200 FT Cleaning and CCTV Investigation of Sanitary Sewers, 42"-48" 400 FT together with related work as well as inspection videos and reports. General Requirements - Bidder /Preregistration Required - Insurance Required Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % - Performance Bond 100 % - Labor and Materials Bond 100 % -- A certified check, bank draft, or satisfactory bid bond, executed by the bidder and a surety company, payable to Clinton Township, in an amount at least equal to five percent (5%) of the bid amount, shall be submitted with each bid.The accepted bidder shall be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond, and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price. The cost of the bonds will be paid by the accepted bidder. WITHDRAWAL OF BIDS No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after receipt of bids. The project shall commence immediately following a notice to proceed per these contract documents. This project shall be substantially completed within one hundred eighty (180) days of said time.
