The City of Santa Monica is requesting bids for a temporary fencing provider for the Public Landscape Division of Public Works. The City requires the delivery, installation, and removal of temporary fencing at various locations. The fencing will typically enclose areas of City parks when renovations or repairs are needed on a short term basis. Projects may take up to 5-6 weeks, with longer timeframes in exceptional circumstances. Please note that the installation of fencing will be performed on an as needed basis. Questions regarding this bid are due Monday, March 4, 2024 no later than 3:00 pm Pacific Time. Specification (use for Goods) Provide Temporary Fencing: The City of Santa Monica is requesting bids for citywide temporary fencing services which include, service, repair, maintenance, purchase, installation and removal of temporary fences on an as needed basis across the City. The City will be strictly using panel fencing, with a width: 12' and in heights of 6' and 8' while using t-stands to avoid installing in-ground posts. City Requirements: Temporary fence repairs billed on time and materials as required Purchase, installation and removal of temporary fencing as required Typically, the fence will be installed over terrain that is significantly level, with small amounts of semi level, or hilly terrain. However, in extraordinary cases, the City may require temporary fencing across different elevations. Purchase / Installation / Removal: Includes temporary chain link fencing with screening material attached to the chain link fencing. Coordinate with the City as to the screening material and color. Gate and fence repairs billed on time and materials as required.
