Questions Due Date: Feb 27th 2024, 4:00 PM EST Inquiries shall be submitted using the "Clarifications" feature in online. NO Pre-Bid Meeting will be held for this project. The project consists of the complete furnishing and installation of pickleball courts at Overlook Park, and all other associated work as indicated on the plans. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check drawn to the order of Manheim Township; or a Bid Bond in favor of Manheim Township, in the amount of 10% of the total bid price. Said check or bond shall be subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. The work in connection with this project constitutes a Public Works by a Public Body under Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Bidders are advised prevailing minimum wage rates, promulgated by the Pennsylvania Secretary of Labor, must be paid to workers employed on this project. Manheim Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to re-advertise and award the contract in the regular manner or to waive any informality in the bid received and to accept any bid deemed to be most favorable in the interest of Manheim Township. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
