Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Madrid, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; for the renovation of a pre-engineered storage facility; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and pre-engineered storage facility.
Project consists of a new single story, slab-on-grade, pre engineered steel maintenance facility that will house road maintenance vehicles. The project includes earthwork, site utilities, concrete and paving, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical. The building shell will be pre-engineered steel with metal wall panels, a standing seam metal roof, simple saver insulation, and overhead doors. Building will have a wash bay. Building will have a connector to the existing mechanic shop. Anticipated Construction Start: Approximately May 1, 2024. Exact date to be determined after owner demolishes existing building. Required Substantial Completion Date: February 28, 2025. Required Final Completion: May 15, 2025. There is a non-mandatory prebid meeting scheduled on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. Meet at the Madrid Facility located at 702 E 3rd Street, Madrid, Iowa. 1. Bid Bond on AIA A310 Bid Bond Forms. 2. Certified check. 3. Security made payable to Owner in an amount of five (5%) percent of proposer's maximum proposal price. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or any part thereof, and to waive informalities, and to enter into such contract as deemed in the best interests of Boone County, Iowa.
