1. General: (a) Equipment shall be new, not used and of the current year model and have been in production for a minimum of 12 months. Hybrid, one-off or prototype equipment is unacceptable. 2. Gate Valves: (a) Resilient seat gate valve. (b) Open left (c) NRS - non rising stem (d) 2" square operating nut (e) MJ - Mechanical Joint (f) (2) O-ring type stem seals (g) Epoxy coated. (h) Minimum 200 psi working pressure. (i) Manufactured in accordance with AWWA C515 specifications. (j) Approved equivalent manufacturer: 1. AVK 3. Pipe: (a) C900 Pipe (DR18) 20' (b) Pipe is to be covered to prevent Sun damage and discoloration. 4. Manuals: All applicable manuals and associated documentation. All questions must be in writing and addressed to Nick Mosqueda, Inventory Control, at nick.mosqueda@cityoffortmorgan.com. The cutoff date and time for questions is Friday, March 8, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. It is the responsibility of prospective bidders to contact Nick Mosqueda at (970) 542-3916 to verify receipt of questions.
