The work generally includes wearing course overlay of Reist Road and Quail Lane in North Cornwall Township. The work also includes bridge repairs at a bridge crossing Beck Creek along Reist Road, involving careful removal of pavement to access the bridge structure and the complete replacement of box beam shear keys, in addition to the installation of a waterproofing membrane and associated items. The work involves line re-painting along Reist Road after overlay. Bidders are advised that prevailing wage rates and record-keeping procedures established by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry shall apply for bids over $100,000 and that minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Contract Documents shall be paid on the project. North Cornwall Township hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to reject any and all bids and to waive any omissions, errors, mistakes, defects or irregularities in any bid at its sole discretion. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing via the "Questions" feature in PennBid. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten (10) days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered
