Bids shall be submitted on the Bid Proposal Form provided in the Project Specifications. The Town of Milton reserves the right to waive any informalities, irregularities or defects in Bids, to reject any or all Bids, and to accept a Bid that in its sole discretion is in the best interest of the Town of Milton. Questions must be submitted in writing by 03/07/24 at 10 a.m. Bids are due by 10:00 am March 14, 2024, with the Bid Award expected at the following Select board meeting. The Project schedule requires the Work to be substantially completed by May 17, 2024. email bids are acceptable. The Town of Milton is seeking qualified bidders to replace bituminous concrete curb with cast in place Scope of Work. The attached plans provide the approximate locations and lengths for curb Installation. The contractor will provide all labor, equipment, traffic control and materials to complete the Work. The new curb limits will be marked by a representative from the Department of Public Works prior to the start of Work. Preparation includes properly prepping the area for cast in place concrete curbing, including but not limited to removal of soil, adding additional soil, seed and mulch and sweeping clean. All materials shall be removed and disposed of. The curbing will be backfilled, and the grass shoulder restored. Drop curbs will continue crossing the driveways. All work shall be done in accordance with our Public Works Standard Specifications.
