All proposals must be submitted in sealed envelopes bearing the name of the bidder and clearly marked with a notation indicating the service or material for which the bid is submitted. The Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities in any proposal, and to make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the County of Eaton. This project consists of placing specialty pavement marking symbols on Eaton County roads including participating cities and villages within Eaton County. The pavement markings shall meet the MDOT 2020 Standard Specifications for Construction and MDOT Standard Plan PAVE-900-G. This work covers the furnishing and application of reflectorized waterborne pavement markings, polyurea pavement markings, and cold plastic symbol pavement markings in accordance with Section 811 of the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) 2020 Standard Specifications for Construction, the 2011 Michigan Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices, and as herein specified.
