This project consists of installation of a pedestrian hybrid beacon crossing on South Main Street located on the north side of the intersection with Forest Cove Drive. This project also includes the installation of sidewalk along the west side of South Main Street from Forest Cove Drive to the north 220 feet. DBE %: 0% Engineer's Estimate: $280,000.00 Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty, in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Each bidder shall submit either a Bid Guaranty bond in the amount of 100%, OR a certified check in the amount of 10% of the proposal, made payable to the CITY OF GREEN. Green Council reserves the right to accept and/or reject any or all bids. The bid guaranty must be submitted electronically and the original document must be submitted to the City of Green before the time of the bid opening. Bid guaranty bonds or checks may be forwarded by registered mail in a sealed envelope labeled with the Project Name and Bid Guaranty Enclosed , addressed to the City of Green, Attention Finance Director (Bid Guaranty Enclosed), P.O. Box 278, Green, Ohio 44232-0278: or hand-carried and deposited at the Office of the Finance Director, City Administration Building, 1755 Town Park Blvd., Uniontown, Ohio 44865. Bonds must be executed on the forms provided in the bidding and contract documents with City of Green and O.D.O.T named as oblige. Standard bonding documents will not be acceptable. Only ODOT pre-qualified contractors are eligible to submit bids for this PROJECT. Pre-qualification status must be in force at the time of bid, at the time of award, and through the life of the construction contract. Subcontractors are not subject to the pre-qualification requirement.
