**As of March 27th 2026, the project was awarded to Barbicas Construction Co, Inc, with an awarded amount of $1,035,057.75** This project involves the City of Green, 2026 Resurfacing Project, Project 26-H-01, located within the City of Green, Summit County, Ohio. The work consists of milling and resurfacing 2.01 miles of pavement on various streets in the City of Green. The project also includes driveway apron replacement, curb ramp replacement, and some roadway-related drainage work. There are seven possible add alternates which may be awarded. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty, in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Each bidder must submit either a Bid Guaranty bond in the amount of 100%, or a certified check in the amount of 10% of the proposal, made payable to the CITY OF GREEN. The bid guaranty must be submitted electronically on Bid Express. The apparent low bidder is required to submit the original document to the City of Green by 4:00 p.m. the following business day. Bid guaranty bonds or checks may be mailed in a sealed envelope labeled with the Project Name and Bid Guaranty Enclosed, addressed to the City of Green, Attention Finance Director (Bid Guaranty Enclosed), or hand-carried and deposited at the Office of the Finance Director. Bonds must be executed on forms provided in the bidding and contract documents; standard bonding documents will not be acceptable. The Green Council reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. All questions about the meaning or intent of any ambiguity, or inconsistency, discrepancy, omission or error in the Contract Documents shall be submitted to the Engineer on Bid Express Q and A feature. Replies will be issued by Addenda, and all parties recorded by the Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents will be notified. Questions will be received until the date for opening of Bids. Only questions answered by formal written Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
