Engineer's Estimate: $13,886,050.67 The project consists of full depth pavement replacement and widening of Arlington Road from Boettler Road to Turkeyfoot Lake Road to a four-lane roadway with a raised center median. It also includes full depth pavement and narrowing of Boettler Road from Arlington Road to Kenway Boulevard to a two-lane roadway with left turn lanes at the intersections of Arlington Road and Kenway Boulevard. Intersection improvements at Boettler Road and Arlington Road involve converting the existing signalized intersection into a multi-lane roundabout. Intersection improvements at Southwood Road and Arlington Road include converting the existing temporary signalized intersection to a multi-lane roundabout. Additional improvements consist of storm sewer, lighting, traffic control, and pedestrian improvements. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Each bidder must submit either a Bid Guaranty bond in the amount of 100%, or a certified check in the amount of 10% of the proposal, made payable to the City of Green. The bid guaranty must be submitted electronically on Bid Express. The apparent low bidder must submit the original document to the City by 4:00 p.m. the following business day. Bid guaranty bonds or checks can be mailed or hand-delivered, must be labeled appropriately, and executed on the forms provided in the bidding and contract documents, naming City of Green and O.D.O.T as obligees. Standard bonding documents are not acceptable. The Green Council reserves the right to accept and/or reject any or all bids.
