Site work for a water / sewer project in Lincolnshire, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Construction of a proposed parallel storm sewer from the cul-de-sac for Brunswick Lane discharging into the West Fork, North Branch Chicago River. The size of the proposed storm sewer ranges from 24" to 48". Key scope of work items includes water main improvements, asbestos water main removal, water main adjustments, miscellaneous storm sewer repairs to the existing storm sewer, miscellaneous sanitary sewer adjustments, walking path rehabilitation, pavement patching, and pavement resurfacing. The project involves wetland work permitted by the Lake County SMC; such work must adhere to the Lake County SMC permit requirements. The project involves in-stream work permitted by the USACE; such work will have to adhere to the USACE permit requirements. 10% DBE participation required. All Contracts for Public Works are subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1- 12) and the Employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works Act (30 ILCS 570). The Village of Lincolnshire reserves the right to defer the acceptance of a proposal for a period not to exceed 90 calendar days after the date proposals are received and to accept or reject all proposals and to waive technicalities and to accept the proposal which best meets the needs and requirements of the municipalities as outlined in the Request for Proposals.
