Work includes, but is not limited to approximately 3 UNITS Type 'A' Inlet Frame, 8 UNITS Type 'A' Inlet Grate, 2,400 LF of 6" HDPE Water Main, 250 LF of 6" HDPE Water Main constructed by Horizontal Directional Drilling, 380 LF of 1" Type K Copper Water Service, 18 UNITS Cut and Transfer Water Service, 5 UNITS Curb Valve and Box, 3 UNITS Fire Hydrant Assembly, 500 LF 8" PVC Sanitary Sewer Main, 200 LF 6" PVC Sanitary Sewer Lateral, 200 LF Concrete Encasement, 10 UNIT Sewer Manhole Frames and Covers, 1 UNIT Precast Sanitary Manhole with Frame and Cover, 10 LF 6"x8"x18" Concrete Vertical Curb, 225 LF 15"x14" Concrete Sloping Curb, 9,225 SY Pavement Milling, 1,110 SY HMA Pavement Repair, 930 GAL Tack Coat, 1,255 Tons of HMA Surface Course, 200 Tons HMA Leveling Course, water fittings, signage, pavement markings and other incidentals. Bids must be made on standard proposal forms, in the manner designated and must be received in sealed opaque envelopes, bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project on the outside, addressed to the Borough Clerk, Borough of Roosevelt and must be accompanied by a Non-Collusion Affidavit and a bid bond or certified check for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid, providing that said check or bid bond need not be more than $20,000.00 nor shall not be less than $500.00, and be delivered at the place and on or before the hour named above. All applicable surety bonds required in connection with the advertisement and award of building contracts or sub agreements must be written by a surety company listed on the Federal Treasury List (Department Circular 570 - Surety Companies Acceptable on Federal Bonds). The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or accept a bid which, in its judgment, best serves the interest of the Borough.
