sealed bids will be received by the Borough of Roosevelt, Monmouth County, New Jersey, for TWENTY-FOUR (24) MONTH CONTRACT FOR REMOVAL AND HAULING OF LIQUID SLUDGE, beginning on January 1, 2025 and terminating on December 31, 2026. The bid must be made on the proposal form, must be enclosed in a sealed, opaque envelope bearing the name of the bidder written on the face of the envelope and clearly marked "REMOVAL AND HAULING OF LIQUID SLUDGE." The bid must be accompanied by: a Statement of Surety from a surety company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey, acceptable to the Borough of Roosevelt; a bid guarantee in the form of Certified Check, Bid Bond or Cashier's Check for not less than 10% of the total bid amount, but not in excess of $20,000.00. A Performance Bond will be required and must be submitted upon execution of the Contract. The bid must be accompanied by a list of the names and addresses of all stockholders owning ten percent (10%) or more of the stock in accordance with P.L. 1988, C. 33, N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2. All bidders shall conform with the requirements of P.L. 1975, C. 127 regarding Affirmative Action. In accordance with P.L. 2004, C. 57, all business organizations doing business with the Borough are required to be registered with the State of New Jersey and provide proof of such registration to the Borough with the submission of this bid. The Borough of Roosevelt reserves the right to require complete financial and experience statements from prospective bidders showing that they have satisfactorily completed work of this nature before awarding the contract, and, to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities where such information is not detrimental to the best interest of the Borough of Roosevelt.
