Rehabilitate Runway The Bidder/Offeror will be required to submit the following information: (1) the names and addresses of DBE firms that will participate in the contract; (2) a description of the work that each DBE firm will perform; (3) the dollar amount of the participation of each DBE firm listed under item (1); (4) written documentation of the Bidder or Offeror that attests their commitment to use a DBE firms listed in item (1) to meet the Owner's Project goal; (5) written confirmation from the DBE that it is participating in the contract as provided in the commitment made under item (4); (6) If Bidder or Offeror cannot meet the advertised project DBE goal, evidence of good faith efforts undertaken by the Bidder or Offeror as described in appendix A to 49 CFR part 26; and (7) a list or DBE's and non-DBE's contacted, or who provided quotes as potential Subcontractors under this bid. The deadline for submission of technical questions is noon on April 3, 2024. The anticipated Notice to Proceed for the project's mobilization is October 1, 2024. This period is intended for preconstruction activities including: submittals and procurement of long lead time items, SIDA training and badging, project survey, subsurface investigation, and other items. The anticipated Notice to Proceed for construction is May 1, 2025. The contractor shall be prepared to start within 5 days of the anticipated start date. Owner Rights: The Board of Airport Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any technical or legal deficiencies and to accept any bid that it may deem to be in the best interest of the airport.
