Patrick Leahy Burlington International Airport is seeking proposals from contractors to supply and install Thermoplastic Hold Lines and Surface Hold Signs on the Airports Taxiways at 1200 Airport Drive, South Burlington, Vermont. All work will have to comply with Advisory Circulars 150/5370-10 current edition Standard Specifications for Construction of Airports and 150/5340-1 current edition Airport Markings. SCOPE OF WORK 1. Thermoplastic surface mounted hold sign: a. Surface preparation in installation in accordance with thermoplastic manufactured specification. 2. Marking Requirements: a. Must pass manufactures "hold test" b. Must pass airport operations night inspection detail, with focus on reflectivity and color refraction. 3. Description: a. Two Taxiway November surface mounted hold signs 33-15 b. Two Taxiway November surface mounted ILS hold sign 4. Schedule: a. Work will need to be completed from the hours of 7:00am to 3:00p.m. (unless otherwise deemed necessary by Airfield Foreman/Manager to take advantage of good weather conditions.) b. Contractors will need to coordinate with Airport Maintenance staff for escort availability and scheduling. Questions.
