1.Materials and Labor: a. Provide all labor and materials to complete the following work on the following: Removal of Existing Sealant, Joint Prep, Installation of new jet-fuel resistant material as described in Section VI. All necessary or reasonable precautions should be made to minimize damage to paved surfaces. 3. Airport Maintenance staff will provide all the lighted Xs, lighting control packages and coordination with ATCT for nightly runway closures. 4. Schedule: a. All work will need to be completed from the hours of 12:15 a.m. (or last arriving flight) and 5:15 a.m. Sunday night through Friday morning. BTV operations will inspect the runway after each closure prior to the first flight departure each morning. b. Cancellation of work for weather related purposes must be called by 2:00 p.m. daily. c. It is the responsibility of the participating vendor to ensure that the point of contact has received a completed proposal by the required deadline. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to negotiate with one or more parties, or to award the contract to the proposal the City deems will meet its best interests, even if that proposal is not the lowest bid. The City reserves the right to re-advertise for additional proposals and to extend the deadline for submission of the proposals. This Request for Proposals in no way obligates the City to award a contract.
