Generator Replacement at the Tisbury Police Station - a. The Town ofTisbury is seeking bids for the Supply and installation of a new three phase Diesel Generator at the Town's Police Station this will be replacing an older generator, the old generator will be removed by the Town prior to the installation ofthe new generator. Note that the existing switch gear is to remain and be modified, if necessary, for the new generator. b. The contractor will be responsible for all labor, material, and equipment to fully complete the following work as specified within the bidding documents. c. The generator will be diesel engine-driven, stationary emergency-standby rated, 80 kW rating with upsized 130 kW alternator, wired for 120/208 VAC three phase, 60Hz. d. Fuel tank 350-gallon double wall UL 142 base tank. e. The new generator will be set on the existing concrete pad size (7' x 11'). The existing concrete pad is in a very tight area and may require a crane for the placement ofthe generator and it will be the responsibility ofthe contractor to coordinate any delivery and setup. f. Generac or Kohler manufacturers are desired. g. The Contractor will be responsible for start-up and test run the generator prior to receipt offinal payment. h. The Contractor must include in the bid amount any excavation, trenching and fuel for the start-up and testing ofthe generator. The contractor will be responsible for all electrical hook ups, and this must be included in the bid amount. Location and Environment - The location of the work is 32 Water Street, Vineyard Haven, Massachusetts.
