A firm timeline for construction has not been established. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Parking Lot Reconstruction Design. The University plans on rebuilding the parking lots shown below in a multiyear plan. The work will be divided into three separate bid packages, one for each construction season. Package 1: Summer 2025 Seal and restripe the following lots: NFTA (South): 94,054 SF ,Diefendorf (South): 114,005 SF, Sherman (South): 149,389 SF,Bissel (North): 26,928 SF Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 15% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 15% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 6% Location: North and South Campus locations. Contract term: construction complete August 2027. Submit five (5) complete sets of qualifications, one of which must have original signatures in sealed envelope. In addition, the University requires an electronic copy of the RFQ in the form of a flash drive to be included with the Proposals. Proposals are to be addressed to. Anticipated effective start date is 9/13/24. Anticipated construction complete is August 15, 2027. Expiration date for the resulting contract shall be August 15, 2028 to allow for guarantee period oversight, project close-out and final payment. See Section 3.1 of the RFQ for additional information. The University at Buffalo plans to retain a consultant for the design, construction administration and full time construction observation for the reconstruction of various parking lots located on the North and South Campus's. The University reserves the right to reject any and all proposals at their sole discretion. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
