The work for which proposals are invited consists of full-depth reclamation and paving of the roadway on Main Street just east of State Street to the east of the corporation limit. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the Proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on the projects of similar size and complexity, and a complete listing of all subcontractors to be used. The Owner intends and requires that the project be completed on or before September 30, 2026. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Additionally, attention of bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in the Contract Documents and on the plans, particularly to the Federal Labor Standards Provisions, various insurance requirements, various equal opportunity provisions, and the requirement for a 100% Performance and Payment Bond. The Village of Verona reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, to waive any informalities in the bidding, and to enter into a contract with the bidder whom in their consideration offered the lowest and best proposal.
