Renovation of a parking garage in Buffalo, New York. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a parking garage.

The Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority (NFTA) owner and operator of the NFTA-Metro, invites interested Consultants to submit a technical proposal that have the requisite, demonstrable competence and experience in architectural and engineering services for the design, construction monitoring, and design support services during construction for the planned roof replacements to the Bus Garages entitled "Metro - Bus Garage Roof Replacements". Qualified firms both singly or in teams must have the requisite, demonstrated competence and experience in and a thorough knowledge of the required architectural and engineering services required for the Project. Qualified firms must demonstrate service competency expertise in concept development, planning, project design, agency coordination, procurement, construction administration, and commissioning. The project work requires full architectural and engineering services including site staging plan development, engineering, utility design and coordination, architectural design (structure design, graphics / Models / Photography), structural design, and electrical (power distribution, lighting, photovoltaic, lightning protection). The project shall provide for the replacement of the roofing systems at all three bus garages. The design shall incorporate a phased approach and include material studies, considerations for safety and security, photovoltaic design, and lighting. The Contractor shall perform not less than 50% of the work with its own forces. The time of completion for the project is 250 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Minority and Women Business Enterprises (MWBE) and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses (SDVOB) participation is required. The participation goals for this contract are 2% MBE, 4% WBE and 8% SDVOB. Contract term: 250 The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
