In general, the work consists of: On Shop Building 1424, replace 13 wood windows and one overhead door. Also replace concrete threshold at overhead door. On Shelter Building 1425, replace 26 wood windows and repair existing wood shutters. All potential bidders must become certified by DOA prior to submitting bids on state construction projects with budgets over $50,000. All bids received from contractors who are not certified will be rejected. These changes take effect January 1, 2014. A bid bond prepared on the Bid Bond Form bound herein, payable to the State in the amount not less than 10% of the maximum bid shall accompany each bid as a guarantee. Failure to enter into the contract with the state (including failure to obtain certificate of insurance and separate 100% performance and 100% payment bonds) may result in forfeiture of the Bid Bond. Project Location: Department of Natural Resources / Pattison State Park Buildings 1424 and 1425 6294 WI Highway 35 Southbound, from downtown Superior, take Wisconsin Highway 35 and take a left hand turn at entrance to park property. Northbound, from the direction of Danbury, take Wisconsin Highway 35 and take a righthand turn at park property. The successful Contractor must agree to commence work on or after a date to be specified in a written "Notice to Proceed" and to fully complete all work within 152 consecutive calendar days thereafter. Completion time will be converted to a specific date at the time the "Notice to Proceed" is issued.
