Renovation of a mixed-use development in Westminster, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
t is the intent of this Bid to establish a contract(s) for the removal of existing carpet and to furnish and install new carpeting in locations / schools within Carroll County Public Schools, Maryland. Successful bidder shall be responsible for providing all necessary materials, labor, tools, equipment, supervision, insurance, and services required to accomplish the work in accordance with the specifications contained in this bid and as detailed as follows for various Carroll County Public Schools / locations. Remove existing adhered carpet, prep floors as required, and furnish and install carpet for the following locations and schools with areas so indicated for each school, all in accordance with the enclosed specifications and the provisions of this Invitation to Bid. 1. Central Office (Winchester Building) - 125 North Court Street, Westminster, Md. 21157 a. Board Room - Remove carpet/cove base and replace with carpet/cove base. b. Board Room Conference Room - Remove carpet/cove base and replace with carpet/cove base. 2. Winters Mill High School - 560 Gorsuch Road, Westminster, Md. 21157 a. Main Office Area - Remove carpet/cove base and replace with carpet/cove base. All VCT will remain. 3. Francis Scott Key High School - 3825 Bark Hill Road, Union Bridge, Md. 21791 a. Guidance Office - Remove carpet/cove base and replace with carpet/cove base. b. Conference/Planning Room - Remove carpet/cove base and replace with carpet/cove. 4. Ebb Valley Elementary School - 3100 Swiper Road, Manchester, Md. 21102 a. Main Office - Remove carpet/cove base and replace with carpet/cove base. 5. Manchester Elementary School - 3224 York Street, Manchester, Md. 21102 a. Main Office (3 Office Areas) - Remove carpet/cove base and replace with carpet/cove base. 6. Shiloh Middle School - 3675 Willow Street, Hampstead, Md. 21074 a. Main Office - Remove carpet/cove base and replace with carpet/cove base. It is anticipated that an award(s) will be made on approximately May 9, 2024. On-site work may commence June 20, 2024, and shall be completed no later than August 9, 2024. Scheduling will be coordinated with the contract administrator after award. Successful contractors will be required to submit a sequence of work schedule prior to contract award to the CCPS contract administrator. Contractors shall complete, as practical as possible, one school at a time before moving to another school and shall complete all the work in a school as expeditiously as possible. Cove base shall be installed in a timely manner. Normal working hours are 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday thru Friday. Weekend and/or overtime work to accommodate the contractor may be authorized and any such work shall be at the contractor's expense. Question Deadline 04/03/2024
