Collection and Disposal of Residential and Municipal Building Trash and Recyclables Services include the weekly curbside collection of municipal trash and recyclables from 5,166 residences within the Westminster corporate limits at present; however, that figure will be adjusted monthly to account for any newly constructed residences. A list of all residences and addresses to receive service will be provided to the successful bidder. The Contractor will be reimbursed for actual quantities of material disposed and recycled on a monthly basis. Question Deadline: 04/05/2024 at 4:30 PM ET, Prospective bidders who have questions regarding this Request for Bids should email their questions to Bids@westminstermd.gov. All questions and the associated answers will be posted on online. All Bids are to be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of 10% of the Bid. A sample bid bond format is provided as part of this Request for Bids. If included in the Agreement, performance and payment bonds are required. Sample formats are provided in the Contract Documents The contract term is three fiscal years: Fiscal Year 2025, Fiscal Year 2026, and Fiscal Year 2027, beginning on July 1, 2024 and ending on June 30, 2027. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or any portion thereof.
