Renovation of a mixed-use development in St. Albert, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Work of the project of which work of this contract is a part, is comprised of but not limited to, the following: .1 Selective building and site demolition as noted on the Drawings to facilitate the construction of a barrier-free raised pedway linking the two buildings for Hillgrove School (existing Robert Rundle School to the existing George Simpson School) over the existing parking lot and drive aisle. .2 The construction of a new pedway linking the existing two school buildings at the existing Hillgrove Capus School. .3 The pedway will consist of an integrated entrance vestibule complete with stairwell and elevator at one side of the connection link between the two buildings. .4 Access to the raised pedway (at same elevation as 2nd floor of the Hillgrove Campus School east building) will be via stair or elevator from entrance vestibules at the main floors of west school building. .5 The repair and making good of any material, roof construction, and flashing surrounding the new construction as outlined in Section 01 35 16 and as shown on the Drawings. .6 Repair any areas of the existing school and site damaged during construction. .7 Contractor to confirm sequence of construction with Consultant before proceeding with the work.
