The Board of Education of Queen Anne's County, Centreville, Maryland, is soliciting proposals from prequalified Contractors to provide bids for the Interior Painting at Matapeake Middle School, located at 671 Romancoke Road, Stevensville, Maryland 21666. ALL bidders must be prequalified. Completed qualification questionnaires are due no later than 4:00 pm on 12 April 2024 and shall be submitted electronically or hardcopy mailed to Mr. Darrell Barricklow, School Facilities Coordinator, Queen Anne's County Public Schools, 202 Chesterfield Avenue, Centreville, Maryland 21617, darrell.barricklow@qacps.org. While this Project does not have a minimum percentage participation goal for Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) participation, Queen Anne's County Public Schools encourages all Certified MBE contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to respond to this solicitation notice. In the event of inclement weather on the date when bids are scheduled to be opened and the QACPS administrative offices are closed, bids will be opened on the next business day at the same time as previously scheduled. Bids will be accepted until the scheduled time of opening on the next business day. Please note: Often when schools are closed due to inclement weather, administrative offices remain open. When in doubt, contact Mr. Darrell Barricklow, School Facility Coordinator at darrell.barricklow@qacps.org.
