SCOPE OF WORK: This Invitation to Bid is to obtain licensed professional plumbing services as part of the construction of a prefabricated restroom building at Terrapin Skate Park. Plumbing services will be needed for a single-user fully-plumbed restroom. No sewer service is currently established at the park. Water is not currently available at the park; the County is in the process of installing a well. The successful bidder will be responsible for establishing connections between a future restroom and the County's sewer service and a well, laying pipes, stubbing sewer and water lines to manufacturer's specifications, and providing final connections for sewer and water service to the restroom once it is installed. Manufacturer's specifications for connections to the restroom building are provided in the Appendix. All work shall comply with local codes, and the contractor shall be responsible for all necessary permits and inspections. The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, supplies and equipment necessary to complete the required work. Work will be required prior to and following installation of the pre-fabricated building in May/June 2025. 3. The Local Vendor preference and Local Vendor Bid criteria apply to this project since all funds are County Funds. Bidders are directed to the provisions of the Instructions to Biddersfor additional information governing the bidding process.
