Questions shall be submitted December 06, 2024 by 2:00 PM. Responses to all questions will be loaded into online. Project Cost Class B - $100,000 to $500,000 The project classification for this solicitation is Class A (Over $50,000). THIS IS A SMALL BUSINESS RESERVE PROCUREMENT. Certified Minority Businesses are encouraged to respond to this solicitation. All questions pertaining to this project must be submitted in writing via email to the Procurement Officer. Questions shall be submitted by Friday, December 06, 2024 by 4:00 PM. Responses to all questions will be loaded into online. If the State of Maryland or other regulatory body requires a license or certificate to perform the services required, please provide the copy of license number and date of issuance in submission with other required documentation. A copy must be mailed or faxed. The Contractor agrees that the price will be firm for a time period of thirty (30) calendar days from the bid opening date to execution of the contract by the State. The work shall be completed within 30 calendar days from the date of notice to proceed. If the work is not completed within the time period specified, the contractor will be liable for liquidated damages of $150.00 per calendar day as specified in the DGS General Conditions. Bid Bond, Performance Bond and Payment Bonds are required when the amount of the contract award, including base bid, unit prices and any alternates awarded, is more than $100,000.00. . This project consists of the Contractor providing all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, insurance, etc., necessary to maintenance dredge by hydraulic method approximately 4,400 cubic yards (CY) of sandy material from the Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Matapeake Marine Terminal Harbor entrance channel in the Chesapeake Bay and dispose the material via beach nourishment onto adjacent Matapeake Beach on Kent Island, 303 Marine Academy Drive, Queen Anne's County, Maryland 21666.
