PROJECTLOCATION: Terrapin Skate Park, 307 Cockey Lane, Stevensville, MD 21666. Solicitation Summary Sealed bids to obtain licensed professional electrician services to establish new electrical service at Terrapin Skate Park, located at 307 Cockey Lane, Stevensville Maryland, to electrify a restroom and future outdoor lighting will be received from qualified bidders by the County Commissioners of Queen Anne's County at the Department of Parks and Recreation, 1945 4H Park Road, Centreville Maryland 21617 until 1:00 p.m. local time on February 12, 2025 at which time they will be opened publicly and read aloud. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder. This Invitation to Bid is to obtain licensed professional electrician services to establish new electrical service at Terrapin Skate Park to electrify a restroom and future outdoor lighting. Manufacturer's specifications for connections to the restroom building are provided in the Appendix. All work shall comply with local codes, and the contractor shall be responsible for all necessary permits and inspections. The contractor shall assist the County in applying for new service with Delmarva Power. The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, supplies and equipment necessary to complete the required work. Work will be required prior to and following installation of the prefabricated building in May/June 2025. The successful bidder will be responsible for establishing a connection with the power company's infrastructure, meter panel installation and setup, electrical line routing to the restroom location, stubbing electrical lines to building specifications, and making the final connections to the restroom and its functional components. Electrical service will be needed to power a pre-fabricated, single-user flush restroom and (future) outdoor, energy-efficient lighting. The restroom building is to be delivered in May/June 2025; lighting may be installed at a future time. Bidders are directed to the provisions of the Instructions to Biddersfor additional information governing the bidding process.
