The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, supervision, equipment, tools, transportation, quality control, and supplies required to complete the work. The Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids when such rejection is in the best interest of the State; to reject the bid of a bidder who has previously failed to perform properly, or complete on time, contracts of a similar nature; to reject the bid of a bidder who is not, in the opinion of the Contracting Officer, in a position to perform the contract; and to reject a bid as non-responsive where the bidder fails to furnish the required documents, fails to complete required documents in the manner directed, or makes unauthorized alterations to the bid documents. All bids shall be accompanied by a bid security in the form of an acceptable Bid Bond (Form 25D14), or a certified check, cashier's check or money order made payable to the Alaska Energy Authority. A bid guaranty is required with each bid in the amount of 5% of the amount bid The amount of the bid security is specified on the Invitation To Bid. The Undersigned proposes to furnish Payment Bond in the amount of 100% (of the contract) and Performance Bond in the amount of 100% (of the contract), as surety conditioned for the full, complete and faithful performance of this contract.
