The Town of New Glasgow is accepting tenders from qualified asphalt contractors to complete asphalt patching for the 2024 construction season. The Town of New Glasgow will require strict compliance with our specifications and will require that the contractor provide highly skilled work crews. Estimated Duration of Contract (months) 5 In awarding a successful tender, the Town of New Glasgow will consider the unit price per tonne of asphalt, the previous history of the quality of the contractors work for the Town (if any), the experience of the contractors work crew, and a schedule that meets with the approval of the Town of New Glasgow. The Town of New Glasgow must have a report from a certified testing company prior to the contractor starting the patching program The Town of New Glasgow reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals and to accept any quotations deemed to be in the best interests of the Town. The Town of New Glasgow also reserves the right to waive any formality, informality, or technicality in any proposal and to limit quantities.
