Site work for a water / sewer project in Bluefield, West Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of Bluefield, Mercer County, West Virginia is in the process of obtaining proposals from right-of-way negotiators to complete the Midway Sewer Replacement Project. The selected right-of way negotiator will work closely with the city, sanitary board, Region I Planning & Development Council, project attorney, and project engineer to obtain all necessary rights-of-way and parcels All work will be performed in accordance with the regulations issued by the funding agencies and the State of West Virginia appertaining thereto. The selected firm(s) will be required to comply with Executive Order 11246, Conflict of Interest Statement and Access of Records, Title VI and Section 109. The City of Bluefield will afford full opportunity for minority business enterprises to submit a show of interest in response to this invitation and will not discriminate against any interested firm or individual on the grounds of race, color, creed, sex, age, handicap, or national origin in the contract award. The City of Bluefield reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals. The City of Bluefield also reserves the right to negotiate the fee for services.
