The scope of the project generally consists of the cleaning and televising of pipes and manholes, and lining portions of the Race Street and Lehigh Canal Interceptors and manholes in the Borough of Catasauqua. This project is funded by ARPA PA Small Water and Sewer Grant. Bidders are required to provide Bid Security in an amount equal to 10% of the total amount bid. Bid Security may be provided in the form of a certified check or a bid bond issued by a Surety Company licensed to transact such business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Upon award of a contract, the Successful Bidder shall provide a Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the awarded contract value. Upon completion of the contract, the Successful Bidder shall provide a 2-year Maintenance Bond in the amount of 100% of the final contract value. Only the Successful Bidder for a contract will be responsible for payment of a fee to online and for bearing the cost thereof. The amount of the fee due to online is either 1/3% (0.0033) of the initial contract award amount for fixed fee contracts or 1/6% (0.00166) of the expected contract value for term contracts and will be invoiced by online to the successful bidder upon award of a contract by the Local Contracting Unit. The minimum fee is set at $100.00 and the maximum fee is capped at $5,000.00. Questions Due Date: Mar 26th 2024, 10:00 AM EDT
