Site work for a water / sewer project in Catasauqua, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work on this project consists of removal and replacement of 3 dry pit submersible pumps in the wastewater treatment plant of Borough of Catasauqua. The pumps will serve as the influent pumps, which convey the wastewater from the wet well to the follow-up treatment processes to achieve the necessary treatment conditions. The old pumps and equipment will be salvaging the old pumps and equipment. Questions Due Date: Jun 6th 2024, 5:00 PM EDT All questions during the bidding period must be submitted through PennBid. Answers to any questions received during the bidding period will be distributed to all bidders through PennBid. Any questions received by means other than through PennBid will not be answered. B. Bidders can submit questions by visiting the project solicitation on PennBid and selecting the "Ask A Question" button from within the project solicitation. Questions may be submitted until the question cutoff time that is established on the "Project Details" tab within the project solicitati A. Furnish and install three (3) dry pit submersible pumps with monitoring sensors, fittings, and associated equipment in the Borough of Catasauqua Wastewater Treatment Plant. B. Provide and install additional fittings and pipe extension to connect the pumps to the existing piping. C. Maintain the continuous operation of the plant during construction by removing/replacing only one pump at a time.
