Scope of Work. This project will provide for the asphalt patching of the degraded portions of 6.79 miles of County Road 1 in Ouray County. . This work will involve the following 1.1 Labor, preparatory work and mobilizations; 1.2 Material hauling; 1.3 Saw cutting and/or milling and excavating damaged areas (>3 deep) in existing road surface course and base; 1.4 Installation of Class-6 basecourse material for base corrections/compaction and repairs; 1.5 Temporary traffic control for the work zone in accordance with MUTCD; and, 1.6 Installation and compaction of three-inch mat of CDOT-approved (Superpave) hot mix asphalt (HMA) in the repair areas and application of PG 64-22F Suncor AC oil. The quantity of HMA required for the entire project is approximately 350 tons. Project completion is no later than August 16, 2024.
