Renovation of a residential development in Mount Union, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.

Kitchens and Flooring Replacement located at North Division Street, Mount Union, PA 17066. A certified check or bank draft, payable to Housing Authority of the County of Huntingdon, U.S. Government Bonds, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the acceptable sureties, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bids, shall be submitted with each bid. The surety must be a Guarantee or Surety Company acceptable to the U.S. Government as published in U.S. Treasury Circular No. 570 and must be licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The successful bidder will be required to furnish an assurance of completion in the form of payment and performance bonds, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price. The Contractor will be required to comply with all applicable equal employment opportunity requirements for Federally assisted construction contracts. The Contractor must insure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex and national origin. Attention is called to Executive Order 11246 CFR Part 60-4, & 12086, to Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, 12 U.S.C. 170lu, to Section 3 clause and regulations set forth in 24 CFR, part 75, Executive Order 11625 (MBE), and Executive Order 12138 (WBE), and to other equal employment opportunity requirements referenced in the Contract Documents. Notice is hereby given that, because this is a Section 3 project, the successful bidder must, to the greatest extent feasible, use project-area businesses located in or owned in substantial part by local residents. Any qualified Section 3 business may make a written request to the Architect to obtain a list of all potential bidders in order to facilitate their ability to make their services known to these potential bidders. The bidder will be required to submit the certifications included with the Contract Documents. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum salaries and wages, as set forth in the Contract Documents must be paid on this project. HACH reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities in the bidding. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days subsequent to the opening of the bids with the written consent of HACH.
