Work to include excavation and removal of approximately 150 cubic yards material, 40 tons of aggregate leveling course, 445 square yards of bituminous base course and 445 square yards of bituminous wearing course for street reconstruction and the excavation and removal of approximately 371 lineal feet of existing concrete curbing, installation of approximately 560 lineal feet of twenty-four (24") inch concrete curb, approximately 335 lineal feet of pavement sawcut, approximately 45 square yards of pavement restoration consisting of 4" Superpave bituminous base course and 1 1/2 " Superpave bituminous wearing course, and the restoration of multiple bituminous driveways, gravel and lawn areas. Each BID, when submitted, must be accompanied by a Bid Bond which shall not be less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the BID. BIDS may be held by OWNER for a period of not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the opening of BIDS for the purpose of reviewing the BIDS and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding of the CONTRACT.
